At the beginning of October, a tradition was revived when we had a working weekend. And at the same time, it was a new premiere and the start of something new. In connection with the working weekend, the annual meeting was held and the meeting decided to change the name to Internationella Arbetslag – SCI Sweden, with the abbreviation IAL.
We hope to both recreate old meeting forms, such as work weekends, and create new ones. During the work weekend we helped close down the Viking Village for the season. The Viking Village is the location for this summer's volunteer camp. We repaired fences for the goats that live in the village in the summer and pulled up the boats. Both old IAL veterans and new interested parties participated. We discussed, among other things, future opportunities for the association, with a desire for new camp projects and activities. Now we are thinking ahead.
