Between September 29th and October 5th, the EPM (Exchange Platform Meeting) will take place in Bonn, Germany.
EPM is an opportunity for different branches, partners and groups affiliated with SCI to meet and exchange experiences from the past year and reflect together on the future. During this year's EPM, I believe that the most important questions will be how SCI can act coherently as a movement on global and sensitive issues such as the genocide in Palestine, and how we can help each other with financing our activities in times of fewer opportunities for long-term funding. The shrinking space for activism in the public sphere is also on the agenda and with it how SCI should take its place there in order to continue to be a strong actor for peace on all three levels we work with:
- Peace with self,
- Peace with others,
- Peace with nature.
I expect an equally rewarding, inclusive and engaging conversational climate as last year, where it is truly possible to see the importance and benefits of intercultural meetings for peace 🕊️ and of course to simply get to hang out with lots of lovely people!
