Here comes the invitation to an inspiration day with IAL. At this time of year, summer feels distant, but it's high time to start envisioning and planning for the 2025 camp season.
This summer we had two camps in Sweden—one in Vikingabyn which has been around for more than 20 years and one at Bäckedals Folkhögskola which was a brand new camp. The picture is from this summer's Midsummer celebration in Bäckedal.
- How can we reach out better with the opportunity to travel the world and volunteer with IAL?
- What ideas for new camp projects are there?
- Can you help organise a camp leader workshop for new camp leaders?
- In our international organisation SCI, there are many exciting collaborative projects and training courses—what is interesting to us?
- And not least—how can we strengthen the idea of peace at a time when armament and reliance on military solutions is greater than in a very long time?
Plan of the day
📅 When: Saturday, January 25, 2025, 12–6 p.m.
📍 Where: At Lotta Albrektson's, at Hornstull in Stockholm.
We start with a vegetarian lunch and continue with workshops in the afternoon. At 6 pm, those who want to continue for a joint dinner. IAL is responsible for lunch, coffee and there is also a travel allowance of 300 SEK/person to enable more people to participate. Overnight accommodation can be arranged if necessary, talk to us in such cases.
